HOYO DE MONTERREY SOUVENIR DE LUXE

Launched at the end of 2017 by Habanos S.A, the “Línea Retro” gets a fourth cigar: the Hoyo de Monterrey Souvenir de Luxe.

The Souvenir de Luxe is part of the premium standard catalog of Hoyo de Monterrey since a long time ago. Its introduction is previous to 1960. However, before being hand-rolled in the traditional method, it was machine-made until 1980.

Carefully arranged in an aluminium case with a "retro" look, inspired by the original pocket cigar holders that were popular in the 1970s, the Souvenir de Luxe of Hoyo de Monterrey as the H. Upmann Regalías, Romeo y Julieta Club Kings and Partagás Capitols, contain 5 cigars with the factory name Petit Coronas (42 x 129 mm). A vitola that is still widely used by Habanos brands. In fact, when announcing the launch of the “Línea Retro”, Habanos S.A. said that this format was "probably the most popular format in the history of Habanos”.

Thanks to “Línea Retro”, Hoyo de Monterrey offers a new packaging for its Souvenir de Luxe, which is currently available in boxes of 50 cigars, divided into 10 aluminum cases containing 5 cigars each.
